    Dear Users,
Please find here info for questions relating to our competitions.
As our competition is free the winners currently only win exposure through our homepage, facebook and myspace pages. This in turn adds to your rankings in Google. The savvy pro photographers out there also know they can use this win to notify local press who are always hungry for awards to local people. They can then generate free commercial advertising with an editorial.
In time as the site grows we're going to be offering cash and product prizes but as the site's still in infancy stages it will take a bit of time and we'd like to thank all of you for your patience, support and the high standard of entries.
As regards copyright, alll of the entrants retain their copyright but by entering they permit wpc to use the entered images for advertising and usage throughout our site and other marketing sites related directly to the world photographic club. Any further questions feel free to add them here or email us directly.
    Many Thanks

    Hello,

I was just wondering what the image size requirements are for competition submissions? I can't find anything relating to that on the site or forums.

    Thanks,

    Robert

Dale - It can take anything from a day to sevral days to approve the images depending on how many we're receiving.

Robert - The site should automatically resize your images up to 10 mb in size but it can often depend on each users net connection and when their computer times them out. Best to treat it like a high res image you need to prep for email and you won't get any probs.

Hope that helps. Any probs just let us know.
