I was chatting to a bloke shooting multiple shots of the same landscape and he said that he uses a program called something like a 'HRS' or similar. What it does is it automatically maps the different shots at different exposures onto each other so you get a perfect balance of light within the image. Does anyone know of this program and where you can get it?

It is HDR for High Dynamic Range. Just google it and you'll find tons of resources on this. Theyre are programmes that take your shots and stack them to get the best HDR image but you really need to tweak anything that comes out to your tastes.

Usually shoot about 5 images but the camera must not move during these exposures and shoot what you think it should be then two with over exposure and another two with varying under exposure.

HDR does not suit every subject.
